Photos from Beats for Beckham !

A huge Thank You to everyone who helped out to help the Moreno family at the Beats for Beckham event on Saturday! It was a lot of fun and our Etsy Dallas booth was able to raise some money to donate to B4B!
We had two crafts at our Make & Take table-one was a pinwheel, and the other was to make a heart to contribute to our Wall of Love!
Here are a few pics from the day

Beats for Beckham

We are excited to be a part of the Beats for Beckham event this weekend, at Life in Deep Ellum. This event will be to help raise money to help a family who has been faced with the with every parents greatest fear. Their son, five month old Beckham was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), which means the left side of his heart did not develop. He has already undergone open heart surgery when he was only 12 days old, and now his parents, Lindsey and Beto, are hoping for a miracle.

Beats for Beckham: Declutter for a Cause will include a flea market with donations coming from across the city. There will also be 10 bands and DJ's playing throughout the day and local breweries and food trucks will be on hand as well. For the kiddos there will be bounce houses, zip lines, a dunk tank and more. We'll be there representing Etsy Dallas and will have a crafty supply sale along with some make and take tables. 100% of the proceeds from the event will be donated, 80% to Beckham's family to help with his medical expenses and 20% to a foundation that researches HLHS in Beckham's name.
The event runs from 7am-11pm this Saturday at Life in Deep Ellum. Tickets are $10 at the door, or you can purchase them here.

Out with the Old, In with the New!

We are making some upgrades and improvements at Pig & Peacock and along with a shiny new website (Woo Hoo!), we now have a new blog! My hope is now that everything is linked up all nice and neat we will be better able to keep up with it all.

All of our old blog posts can still be found on the interwebs here.

In addition to our soapy goodness that we usually post, we will keep you up to date on all the cool things our Etsy Dallas family is up to as well as some other crafty fun we have up our sleeve.
